Manu Ginobili is doubtful for tomorrow’s matchup against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ginobili left late in the first quarter with a left thigh contusion after colliding with Boston’s Chris Wilcox on an illegal screen.
According to Spurs beat writer Jeff McDonald, Ginobili’s status will be re-evaluated following morning shootaround.
Gregg Popovich reiterated last night that his status is very much in question.
“… One would think he is going to be stiffer than hell tomorrow,” Popovich said. “It’s hard to believe he’d be ready day after tomorrow for Oklahoma, but I’m not sure.”
The timing of the injury is unfortunate, leaving the Spurs and Thunder, combined for a 38-10 record, with less star power.
