If you are anxious for some San Antonio Spurs basketball and don’t really want to invest a ton of cash, then the State Farm Open Scrimmage is the ideal event for you.
Prior to the first preseason game against Montepaschi Siena on Oct. 6, fans will have the opportunity — tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis — to watch the Spurs for free on Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. The AT&T Center will open an hour prior to the intra-squad scrimmage.
As usual, Spurs broadcaster Sean Elliot will host the game and the Coyote and the Silver Dancers will be prominently featured. Hot dogs and drinks will be sold for $1 and fans will also have the opportunity to win Spurs practice jerseys following the scrimmage.
