Gregg Popovich donated $5,000 to Obama campaign

I’m not one to dabber into politics — and I am indifferent towards either candidate — but HoopsHype recently posted a list of NBA donors to the respective campaigns of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was among the donors as he donated $5,000 to Obama’s campaign. There is a general curve to be noticed from the donations; most executives donated to Romney’s campaign while players and coaches generally donated to the Obama campaign.

Take that bit of info with a grain of salt because this list is completely irrelevant when it comes to sports — which happens to be the focus of this blog.

So, yeah. Moving on.

Of course coach Pop is entitled to his political leaning and just like a traditional Democrat is out to bankrupt the government contrary to Mgnt’s policy of frugality and fiscal restraint. He should be replaced immediately!
