Video: Manu Ginobili talks about Olympics, new teammates

.

From what I gleamed from his interview (H/t to Basquet Plus), it appeared that Manu talked about his current physical state, Argentina’s Olympic preparation and his new teammates (I apologize for the poor translation).

Argentina is gearing up for their first Olympic match of the Preliminary Round on July 31 against France and, potentially, Tony Parker. Their third game will be against the heavily favored United States which should be a pretty exciting matchup.

Ginobili has played well in FIBA tournaments, averaging 14 points, three assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. The gravity of the tournament requires consistent excellence yet Ginobili may have even more motivation considering this years Olympics will likely be his last.
