Gregg Popovich famously proclaimed for the Spurs to get “nasty” before the beginning of the fourth quarter. Prior to Pop’s proclamation, Oklahoma City’s athleticism and their inability to take care of the ball put the Spurs in a nine point hole.
You know the rest. The Spurs scored 39-points in the final quarter, their second highest total in the fourth quarter since Feb. 13, 2008 against Cleveland, and they held Kevin Durant to 0-for-2 shooting en route to a three-point victory in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
And now Spurs fans can purchase their own “I want some nasty” shirts courtesy of PROMOtivations. You can find their Facebook page here.
