If it is a ploy to lull the thunders, it is subtle and effective and not easy to read. True, the big men of the thunders are not as big as the clippers. Maybe Blair can hold his own against the thunders. This gives the Spurs another wide body.  It is a way of reserving someone if anyboby gets hurt. Ther Spurs in 4 or 5 games.
