Vinny Del Negro: The Spurs “won championships for a reason”

Los Angeles Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro had some time to address the Clippers’ newest opponent, the San Antonio Spurs, in his postgame conference after their 10-point victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 7.

“They are a different type of team, obviously,” Del Negro said. “San Antonio has played as well if not probably the best of anybody consistently throughout the year. They’ve won championships for a reason. They are not going to beat themselves.”
