Per Jeff Garcia of Project Spurs, Tiago Splitter is wearing a cast after he sprained his left wrist in the Spurs’ 15 point victory over the Utah Jazz. Splitter is doubtful for Game 2 Wednesday.
Splitter, a big with legitimate size, made a tangible impact against the Utah Jazz. The Spurs outscored Utah by 5.7 points per 100 possessions with Splitter on the court, according to NBA Stats Cube. Without Splitter, though, the Jazz bested the Spurs by 11.5 points per 100 possessions.
