As promised, here is the first of the polls to find the All-time, All-Spurs team. We are starting with point guards, and whether you were a fan of the “Little General”, “Captain Late”, or some other floor leader this is you chance to let others know.
Poll after the jump
Ground Rules:
You don’t talk about fight club.
You can vote more than once.
You can pick more than one player.
If you think I missed someone, I have left a spot for you to enter said player.
If you shake more than three times, that’s considered masterbation.

Great Idea-hope Spurs fans from all over will participate and tell others/ When I first logged in to evaluate the point guard selections, the list started with Lucas, then Parker, then Silas, followed by Rivers and Moore (10:30-11pm cdt)/I’m doing my due diligence to this survey-checking the Spurs PG careers–and I’m back to the list, and the order has changed. Help me (and others who will look at the career resumes)—either list players for each postiton by alphabetical order; or — list Spurs players by the years they played in chronological order *which is the best way. I didn’t check yet but maybe D’Antoni should be listed first since he played when the Spurs were in the ABA. (Did you list any PG from the Dallas Chaparrals days?)This is a great interactive exercise for diehard Spurs Fans; just make it smoother for all to do good research.
Sorry, I ramonized the poll when I created it…in retrospect I’m not sure why. You bring up some good points, and I will take that under advisement.
I missed Mike Gale. If you want him to be considered please vote for him under “other”
Johnny Dawkins?
Mo Cheeks?
Vinny Del Negro?
Terry Porter?
