A rumor without a leg to stand on will get around some other way

For all of you that think that maybe just maybe the Spurs are trying to do a deal that involves Devin Harris, I’d like you to see what the New York Daily News has to say on the subject:

(G)oing into Thursday’s draft, it now seems unlikely that Harris will be used the same way that Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter were in the previous two offseasons – as trade bait. While Jefferson and Carter were both sent packing on the afternoon of the previous two drafts, all indications are that Harris will make it through the day and begin next season as the Nets’ starting point guard.

Of course, one never nows which side of a rumor is true until all the facts come out.
