Spurs Sign Veteran Center Theo Ratliff

On Saturday the San Antonio Spurs signed veteran Center Theo Ratliff. The deal of the contract was not disclosed. The 6′10″ Ratliff spent last season playing for the Philadelphia 76ers . While there he averaged 1.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1 block per game in the 46 games that he appeared in.
Ratliff will look to be a stopper in the middle as he is ranked 18th in the league for total blocks at 1,902 and fifth amongs active players. Though he has probably surprassed his prime Ratliff will sure give the Spurs more defensive presence in the paint.
