Spurs Season Ends!

AUTHOR: Mike | IN: Playoffs, Spurs | COMMENTS: None Yet

It was a series that looked to be in the Mavericks hands from game one and they proven it the whole series as the Mavericks took down the Spurs in game five to win the series. The Spurs did not get much help from any others outside of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker whom combined to score 50+ of the teams total points in the game.
Duncan had his best game of the series going for 30 as Parker was his normal being getting into the lane with ease and hitting jumpers. Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks in scoring and help [...]

Do or Die Time For San Antonio!

AUTHOR: Mike | IN: Spurs | COMMENTS: None Yet

The statement is now relavant, ‘Win or Go Home’. The Spurs will be facing just that tonight as we have our backs against the wall facing elimination against the Dallas Mavericks tonight at the AT&T Center.
A series in which the Mavericks have dominated and the Spurs have looked lack luster. Tony Parker is and has been the bright spot for the Spurs in the series as he has broken down the defense with his penetration and outside shooting.
Dallas has done everything in the series to be up three game

Parkers Drops 38 To Lead Spurs in Game 2

AUTHOR: Mike | IN: Playoffs, Spurs | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

San Antonio, Texas — We should be up two games on the Mavericks but our game one blunders in the second half cost us the game and the Mavericks bench just went nuts on us. But in game two, different story, roles reversed.
Tony Parker……prett much all I have to say.
From the start of the game to the end Parker set the tone and quickly proved to the Mavericks that they were going to have to do anything and everything to stop him……they tried, and failed.
Parker in the first quarter took control and went off. He scored 19 in the first [...]

Lonestar Showdown Begins, Saturday

AUTHOR: Mike | IN: NBA, Playoffs | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

(Fansided) – This is the time of year, whether your team is in the playoffs or not, all NBA fans look forward too. For my case, I love seeing that my home town team, the team that I mirror this blog after the San Antoino Spurs have made another trip back into the playoffs and what better way to kick it off with then our “I-35″ Rivals the Dallas Mavericks.
Now many Spurs fans know that their is also heat not just with the Mavericks team but with the owner for the comments he made years ago about our Riverwalk and [...]

Celtics Danny Ainge Resting After Heart Attack

AUTHOR: Mike | IN: NBA, News | COMMENTS: None Yet

Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has suffered a heart attack, WCVB in Boston reported.
Ainge was resting comfortably after being taken to the hospital early Thursday morning, the television station reported.
Ainge, 50, took over the Celtics in 2003. He helped the Celtics win a championship last season by bringing in Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. Ainge did not attend Wednesday night’s Celtics game because he was feeling sick.
Ainge woke up Thursday morning with chest pains and was taken to the hospital. Doctors later inserted a stent to unclog an artery that was 100 percent clogged.
Ainge will be in the hospital [...]
